Find help, when your passport has expired or got lost


The emergency passport service of the information desk team in the departure hall offers last-minute rescue if you have lost your passport, forgot it at home or if it has epxired.

An emergency passport can be issued shortly prior to departure. You do not even have to bring along passport photos. They can be made using the photo booth next to the information desk.

The service currently costs € 75,90. Issuance takes about 30 min. and is possible between 05:30 a.m. and 07:30 p.m.. However, it is not possible for all countries.

Important: Please bring along the necessary documents for requesting an emergency passport – in any case an official photo ID, (e.g. driver's license) and:

  • Birth certificate
  • Certificate of citizenship
  • Proof of absolute necessity (e.g. plane ticket, hotel confirmation, notice of loss or theft)
  • 1 passport photo - this can be taken at the airport
