Hop over to Berlin even more often

Daily flight to Berlin as of summer flight plan.

Feldkirchen/Graz, 22/1/2015: airberlin is adding a Saturday flight to the Graz/Berlin service as of the end of March, with one daily nonstop flight from Berlin to Graz and back.

The additional flight not only improves the service to the German capital. Passengers will also benefit from other connection options in the international route network of this full-service German airline. Travellers from Graz to Berlin will, for example, have connections to Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Helsinki, Stockholm and Moscow as well as to Abu Dhabi. From the Abu Dhabi hub there are numerous options for travelling with the partner airline Etihad Airways, for instance to Asia, Africa or Australia. Luggage can be checked through to the final destination on all services.

“In view of the great demand among our passengers from Styria, we have decided to run another service from Graz to Berlin-Tegel. The daily service allows airberlin passengers to plan their journey even more individually in the airberlin route network”, says airberlin CEO Wolfgang Prock-Schauer.

“This additional flight is a great gain for Styria”, DI Wolfgang Malik, Chairman of the Board of Holding Graz and Mag. Gerhard Widmann, CEO of Graz Airport, are convinced. “For one thing because vibrant Berlin is a popular destination and for another because a lot of visitors from the Berlin area like coming to Styria. It is another important step in Graz Airport’s cooperation with airberlin.”
