The well-being and safety of its guests, employees and the popluation in general has top priority for Graz Airport.

Safety in air transportation

At Graz Airport air traffic is handled according to strict guidelines in order to ensure optimal safety for passengers, airlines and the population.

Modern technical equipment and motivated qualified personnel make this possible.

A company is only as strong as its employees

It is an important duty for Graz Airport to perceive the needs of its employees and take them seriously.

Social harmony is an important issue and the health of the employees is constantly promoted.

BGF-Seal of Quality from the Austrian Network for Workplace Health Promotion

Workplace health promotion is an integral part of the corporate strategy. Graz Airport has therefore been offering for more than 15 years now numerous activities of health promotion at the workplace. In order to guarantee sustainable measures it was important to run a project promoted by “Fonds Gesundes Österreich”. This means that we had to adhere to quality criteria and a management cycle (Diagnosis – Planning –Execution – Evaluation –Implementation of Workplace Health Promotion) in order to reduce burdens and extend health resources.

The most important principles of workplace health promotion such as integration, participation, planning according to basics of project management, health equal opportunities, holistic approach on levels of behaviour and relation, voluntary participation in projects and offered measures as well as sustainability are ensured and can hence be example to other companies.

Graz Airport was therefore awarded the BGF-Seal of Quality from the Austrian Network for Workplace Health Promotion for the second time in 2016.

Within the workplace health promotion employees have numerous possibilities. The offer ranges from a sports club with different sections to health care and Nutrition Seminars.
