Graz Airport: Winter flight schedule
The winter flight schedule has some new destinations to offer, such as the additional flight connections offered by InterSky to Zurich and Milan/Bergamo
Feldkirchen bei Graz, 17 Oct. 2012: The winter flight schedule of Graz Airport applies as from 28 October 2012. The greatest news are the new InterSky connections to Switzerland and Italy that will be available as from next January.
Hurghada, Teneriffe and Sharm el Sheikh are the highlights among the holiday destinations. The leading tour operator for Egypt in Austria ETI offers charter series flights to both Red Sea destinations. In addition to the many splendid beach hotels, the programmes on offer include cruises on the river Nile, round trips and diving safaris.
The charter connections to Antalya and Palma de Mallorca will of course be continued. The scheduled flight plan this winter is multi-faceted. Besides some 90 weekly flight connections to the major transit airports of Frankfurt, Vienna, Munich and Berlin, there will again be morning/evening flights to Dusseldorf and Stuttgart.
As from January, the flight schedule will become much more varied: The Austrian regional carrier InterSky is expanding its network and will offer two flights per day between Graz and Zurich and one flight from Graz to Milan/Bergamo; the well established flight to Friedrichshafen will be shifted to the evening.
Mag. Gerhard Widmann, CEO of Graz Flughafen: “Companies have long been demanding flights to Zurich and Milan and better departure times for flights to Friedrichshafen. Now it is important that the new flights offered are used to capacity so that we can ensure that they will be continued. Companies and business users are expected to contribute their share here.”
