Feldkirchen/Graz, 22.03 2021: Despite the current Covid-19 situation, the gradual return of many scheduled services planned for the coming months is important to the economy, as well as holiday travellers. In cooperation with tour operators, Graz Airport has created a varied holiday flight schedule for this summer.
"Of course, the flight schedule can still undergo adjustments in the current Covid-19 situation," explains Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Director of Graz Airport. "But the vaccination, comprehensive testing strategies and finally the EU's efforts to create a uniform system of travel facilitation with the 'green passport' make us optimistic. I'm delighted that we can not only offer a varied programme but also four new tourist destinations at the same time."
Scheduled services:
Graz is currently connected to the world via Vienna. The airline partners intend to resume flights to the most important transfer airports or business in spring or early summer.
Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, Vienna and Zurich will be offered again in the summer of 2021.
Holiday flights:
Totally in line with what passengers want, the all-dominant theme is: THE SEA.
As a result, the majority of the flights are going to the Mediterranean, as well as to Hurghada on the Red Sea.
Greece is represented with nine destinations. And there are even four newcomers among the holiday destinations: Calvi on Corsica and the three Greek islands of Karpathos, Naxos and Zakynthos.
The holiday destinations in detail:
Antalya, Brac, Burgas, Calvi, Heraklion, Hurghada. Karpathos, Corfu, Kos, Naxos, Palma de Mallorca, Paros, Rhodos, Skiathos, Zakynthos
