Graz Airport: a great network to the world throughout the winter season

The Winter Flight Plan went into operation at Graz Airport on Sunday, 27 October, and it will be in force until 29 March 2014.

Graz, 28 October 2013: Consistent quality across the line: an aircraft takes off for Frankfurt, Vienna, Munich, Berlin and Zurich around 100 times every week. Charter flights link up Graz with a wide range of holiday destinations.

"Our dense network of scheduled flights not only means we have the best links to all destinations around the world, but our passengers also have an outstanding choice of the best connections and the best air travel deals”, Mag. Gerhard Widmann, CEO of Graz Airport, said.
Stuttgart and Dusseldorf are now also in ever more frequent use as transfer airports, with over 20 connections a week to these cities on the flight plan.

The holiday flights:
Various tour operators together with carrier airline NIKI offer regular flights to the Canary Island of Tenerife throughout the winter. Regular flights to Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh are also planned with NIKI and tour operator ETI.
Palma de Mallorca and Antalya, while also fixed components of the winter flight plan, will have a short winter break.

The winter flight plan also includes some very interesting special flights:
The Cape Verde Islands will be on the plan with Gruber Travel in January and Moser Travel takes off for Tel Aviv in February. A special flight to Marrakesh is on offer from GTA-Sky-Ways in March, and flights to Funchal / Madeira will start at the end of March, still within the winter flight plan. Car lovers have a direct flight to the Geneva Motor Show on 10 March.
