As of now: PCR and antigen tests at Graz Airport
This service has been created primarily for airline passengers in cooperation with Hygienicum Graz and nyr Consulting GmbH.
Feldkirchen/Graz, 12.02.2021: At least one antigen test is currently required for entry into many countries, but mostly PCR tests with a short validity period. Evidencing these tests often poses a major time problem for travellers. A test point has therefore been set up in the Graz Airport terminal, which is operated by nyr-Consulting together Hygienicum Graz. There is a charge for the tests and they are also available to non-fliers.
Wolfgang Malik, CEO of Holding Graz: "Since the outbreak of the pandemic, the crisis management team at Holding Graz has been endeavouring to support the federal government's measures in the best possible way. As we operate critical infrastructures and are an important factor in these infrastructures working, we are particularly proud that there have been hardly any hot spots in terms of infections and that the Group has initiated appropriate early detection measures by setting up operational test lanes. With the test point at the airport, we are now offering the chance to be tested quickly specifically for our passengers, but also for non-fliers."
"Stringent testing strategies, in addition to the COVID vaccination, will help ease the existing travel restrictions in the coming months, thus facilitating business and private travel," explain Wolfgang Grimus and Jürgen Löschnig, Managing Directors of Graz Airport. "It was therefore important for us to create a practical testing opportunity for our passengers directly at the airport. However, the tests for a fee can be used by non-passengers too."
The test point at Graz Airport has been set up to meet all the requirements of an infrastructure worthy of protection and is available during certain opening hours.
