More NIKI flights from Graz Airport!

As from May 2009, NIKI will offer 5 flights per week from Graz to Palma de Mallorca, opening a direct route to the Iberian hub of Palma!

Feldkirchen, 06 November 2008: “After this year’s positive experience with the Graz – Palma service, we are now accepting the challenge and will have a plane stationed in Styria as from next May. The connection between Graz and the hub in Palma opens access to 20 destinations on the Iberian peninsula. We are not only offering perfect transfer links for the Styrian people, but also establishing Graz as a destination for the Spanish market”, says Niki Lauda.

Mag. Gerhard Widmann, CEO of Graz Airport is pleased: “NIKI is going to expand its service from Graz and thereby opening up a wealth of new opportunities for our passengers. With the swift and favourably-priced connection to the traffic hub of Palma de Mallorca, the most important cities in Spain and Portugal will be easy to reach in future.”

As from May 2009 NIKI will fly from Graz to Palma de Mallorca on the following days:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday (2x).

Palma de Mallorca has recently developed into an important hub, especially for Air Berlin/NIKI: The connecting flights from Palma to the Spanish mainland and Portugal, and cities such as Malaga, Madrid, Santiago de Compostela, Seville, Valencia, Bilbao, Faro, Porto and Lisbon are particularly interesting for passengers flying from Graz.
