More Munich

Lufthansa are increasing the number of flights between Graz and the Bavarian capital city.

Feldkirchen bei Graz, 01/09/2016: Munich is one of the most important transfer airports in Central Europe with 4 daily flights currently arriving from Graz. When the winter flight schedule begins on 30/10/2016, the connection is to be increased from 4 up to to 5 flights a day.

“Our passengers from Graz have ideal connections in Munich. The Lufthansa terminal counts among the best in the world: short paths, a pleasant setting, and fast connections. Passengers can also enjoy this “5-star travel experience” in the new satellite building that opened recently, an extension of the Lufthansa terminal”, says Marco Götz, Senior Director Network Management, Hub Munich.

“After Frankfurt, Munich is Germany’s second-biggest airport, ranking seventh among the ten busiest airports in Europe”, says Gerhard Widmann, Managing Director of Graz Airport. “Its dense network of connections explains why the number of passengers from and to Graz has been on the rise for years. The additional flights are a tremendous gain for our passengers”.
