Feldkirchen bei Graz, 28 October 2016: When the clocks go back this Saturday/Sunday, Graz Airport is also set to roll out its winter flight schedule.
“The extra direct flights to Munich are a great boon for our passengers”, says Gerhard Widmann, Managing Director of Graz Airport. “And with around 130 scheduled flights a week – most to major transfer airports – we provide perfect connections to the world in winter too”.
The scheduled flights
NEW! More Munich with Lufthansa, NIKI putting on flights to Majorca over Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
The scheduled flights connect Graz Airport and its catchment area to major cities and industrial sites. Primarily, however, these direct flights go to major transfer airports for a direct connection to the big wide world.
The winter flight schedule sees the start of a new early-evening Lufthansa rotation between Graz and Munich that will make it even more convenient to transfer to numerous connecting flights.
Also new to the schedule are a number of special scheduled flights going to Palma de Mallorca between 9/12/2016 and 9/1/2017. So your party under palm trees is just two hours away.
bmi regional are planning a new direct twice-weekly connection to Birmingham as of the new year. The exact starting date will be published as soon as possible.

Düsseldorf (13 x per week)
Frankfurt (26 x per week)
Istanbul (4 x per week)
Munich (31 x per week)
Palma de Mallorca (19/12/2016–9/1/2017 2 x per week)
Stuttgart (9 x per week)
Vienna (27 x per week)
Zürich (6 x per week)
The charter flights
Once a week throughout the winter there will be a flight to the Canary Island Tenerife and to Hurghada by the Red Sea.
The weekly flights to Antalya on the Turkish Riviera will be resumed at the beginning of March.
The range of scheduled and charter flights also includes a number of interesting special flights for some great variety; destinations in this segment include Comiso, Geneva, Madeira, Marrakesh and Shiraz.
