The one millionth passenger!

Santa Claus came early for Graz Airport this year: On 23rd of December, the airport crossed the magic mark of one million passengers in one year for the first time in its history!

Feldkirchen, 23 Dec. 2008: The one millionth passenger this year touched down in Graz with a plane of TUIfly at 1:00 pm on Dec. 23rd.
Ms. Nicole Edlinger from Aachen, who spent Christmas with her aunt in Styria, was welcomed by the CEO of Graz Airport, Gerhard Widmann, the Mayor of Graz Siegfried Nagl, Director Georg Bliem, Mayor Adolf Pellischek and members of the Board Wolfgang Messner and Wolfgang Malik.
It goes without saying that the one millionth passenger received some gifts: a voucher for a holiday stay in the Styrian spa region, and an air travel voucher sponsored by TUIfly for flights within its network.

The one millionth passenger is not only a milestone in the history of Graz Airport but also confirmation for its work over the past few years that put Graz Airport into an excellent position as an important hub.
